About the Role
As a Director in Multifamily Affordable Housing Underwriting, you will be responsible for independently managing the underwriting and diligence of transactions, leading the transaction from origination through execution, and building a high-quality pipeline of affordable housing debt opportunities. You will also mentor junior team members and represent the platform at industry events.
About You
Required:
- 7-10+ years in affordable housing finance focused on originations with a consistent record of closed transactions.
- Thorough product knowledge of Affordable Housing and LIHTC financing; significant experience structuring tax-exempt financing.
- Credit/investment analysis proficiency including development budgets, sources/uses, and strong memo writing.
Preferred:
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Proven management capability.
- Strong attention to detail.
