About the Role
As a Municipal Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for renewing existing municipal contracts and pursuing new opportunities within the assigned market. Your daily tasks will include managing business relationships, prospecting for new bids, tracking contract information, and attending municipal meetings. You will also prepare reports, develop strategies for client retention, and assist with municipal bids.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing/Sales Management, or related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in municipal/public sector contract administration or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Waste industry experience.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications; AS/400 and Lotus Notes experience preferred.
