About the Role
As a Naturalist Apprentice, you will assist in developing class programs, enhancing curriculum, supporting facilities, and supervising Sky Mountain classes and special programs. You will have the opportunity to live onsite in a shared room, with meals included when the program is operational. This position requires a commitment to the entire length of the season, with a possibility of continuing into the next season.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Food Handlers certification or commitment to obtain it within the first month of hire.
- Valid Wilderness First Aid certification or commitment to obtain it through SJCOE provided training.
- Experience with students in an educational or extra-curricular setting.
- Valid Class C California driver's license and a good driving record.
