Summary
Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an NDT Level II to join their team in Prescott, AZ. The role involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using FPI/MPI Inspection methods to ensure the structural integrity and quality of aerospace components.
About the Role
As an NDT Level II, you will be responsible for conducting FPI/MPI inspections in accordance with NADCAP and customer specifications, reviewing engineering drawings, and maintaining inspection documentation. You will ensure the proper maintenance of NDT equipment, communicate findings with various teams, and contribute to a continuous improvement environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong understanding of aerospace specifications and quality requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process instructions.
- Familiar with industry codes, standards, and procedures for non-destructive testing.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inspection documentation systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Excellent visual acuity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization tools.
- WHMIS or other workplace safety training certifications.
- NADCAP FPI/MPI experience.
- Knowledge of other NDT methods (e.g., UT, RT) is an asset.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring quick adjustments.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members.
- Certified Level 2 in FPI/MPI (in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of FPI/MPI inspection experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Material handling equipment experience.
- Experience assigning bin locations and managing part traceability.
