Fluence Labs is seeking an NDT Technician (RT) to join their team in the United States. The role involves providing nondestructive testing services and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of inspection solutions.
About the Role
As an NDT Technician (RT), you will be responsible for interpreting film radiographs, setting up and acquiring radiographs, documenting inspection results, performing process control checks, and developing advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions. The position requires travel to customer sites throughout the United States as needed.
About You
Required:
Previously Certified RT-Film in accordance with NAS 410 / SNT-TC-1A.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
+5 years NDT Experience.
Ability to work autonomously.
Good written, oral, and presentation skills.
Experience training NDT assistants.
Proficiency with various NDT data acquisition & evaluation software.
Expertise interpreting 2D engineering drawings and model drawings.
High competence with Industry Standards such as ASTM, ASME, AWS.
Preferred:
ASNT RT III certification.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or computer science.
6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience.
Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/AS9100/NADCAP).
Advanced Manufacturing Experience.
Casting Inspection experience.
Composites Inspection experience.
Weld Inspection experience.
Knowledge of various NDE techniques such as ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, digital radiography testing.
Knowledge of industrial automation.
Experience with software and automation coding (LabVIEW, Python, C#, SQL).
Experience with POD Studies.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls.
Experience with root cause analysis.
Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/feature tracking systems.
