About the Role

As a Network Administrator, you will manage day-to-day operations of servers and networks, monitor system health, install and maintain servers and network operating systems, and ensure network security. You will also conduct research on network products, maintain system documentation, and provide technical support to users. The position requires routine visits to all GSIL locations to ensure proper utilization of network and server hardware and software.

About You

Required:

An A.S. or B.S. degree in computer science, data processing or related field is preferred but commensurate experience acceptable.
Three to five years of network, server administration, and Help Desk Support experience in a large office environment.
Proficient with current Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, MS Office, VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, and hardware support.
Operational knowledge of network infrastructure, network and routing protocols and switch configuration.

Preferred:

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple problems and tasks and function independently with minimal oversight and direction.
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
