Summary

OmegaCor Technologies is seeking a senior-level Network Engineer to support and manage the IT infrastructure of a federal agency in Millersville, MD. The role involves designing and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise networks and collaborating with system and cloud teams.

About the Role

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and enterprise network devices. Your tasks will include administering and monitoring network devices, managing firewall policies, and supporting Microsoft 365 infrastructure. You will also coordinate with system and cloud teams, ensure compliance with federal standards, and maintain network documentation.

About You

Required:

5+ years of senior-level network engineering experience.
U.S. Citizenship required by government agency.
Extensive experience with enterprise network architecture and operations.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade equipment from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper.

Preferred:

Certifications: CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIP, Azure Network Engineer Associate.
Enterprise Admin Expert.
Comprehensive understanding of network services such as TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
Ability to analyze and evaluate networks and provide solutions.
