Trustmark Bank is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician to join their team in Ridgeland, MS. The role involves maintaining cable systems, including installation, programming, and upgrading cable infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Network Infrastructure Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cable systems by installing, repairing, programming, and upgrading cable infrastructure. You will act as a liaison between building facilities and commercial contractors, perform preventive maintenance and repairs, test newly installed or relocated cables, and develop knowledge of National Building Codes and standards. The role requires experience with conduit bending and running, as well as the ability to work on various aspects of the telecommunication industry.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience in cabling systems or related fields.
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and product schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and replace parts as needed.
Preferred:
Experience with Twisted Pair Copper and DS3 Coax installations.
Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA/TIA, BICSI, NEC.
Fundamental computer, network, and electronics skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
