As a TDM Tier 2 Network Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Network Optical Backbone SONET equipment and TDM circuits, resolving complex network issues, and supporting service restoration efforts. You will work closely with a dispersed field service team, interface with customers and service providers, and manage special projects. The role requires adherence to Change Management processes and performing rotational on-call duties in a 24/7/365 environment.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Experience in networking technologies with SONET and/or Time Division Multiplexing (TDM).
Experience in change management, network management, and network technology.

Preferred:

Experience as a NOS working in the FTI PNOCC troubleshooting.
Knowledge of all aspects of the FTI/FAA communications network infrastructure.
Understanding of NAS Operations ticket management and scheduled maintenance processes.
