About the Role
As a Network Security Analyst, you will be responsible for investigating security-related alarms and alerts, responding to tickets and service requests, and using various tools to monitor for internal and external threats, vulnerabilities, or malware. You will assist senior engineers and peers with tasks and project work as needed.
About You
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in a network security capacity, including monitoring or managing network security systems.
- Experience with at least one SIEM product, such as Splunk.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and attack vectors.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new products.
Preferred:
- Experience with security analytics tools like Cisco Stealthwatch.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools like Qualys and Nessus.
- Security-related certification (Security+, CySA, GIAC, CEH, CISSP, etc.).
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
