Summary

McKesson is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves developing and maintaining secure network solutions for CoverMyMeds' critical businesses and customers.

About the Role

As a Network Security Engineer, you will design and implement network security solutions within enterprise datacenters and cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will include producing detailed designs and cost estimates, engaging in Business Unit projects, implementing network security policies, developing network operations processes, and providing advanced troubleshooting support. You will also be involved in network security capacity planning and research for management tools.

About You

Required:

5+ years of experience working in complex IP network environments with a heavy security focus.
Significant experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, and F5).
3-5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Experience with NGFW Palo Alto/Panorama technologies.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining VPN Solutions.
Experience with Identity Access/Multi-factor solutions and network forensics.
5-7 years' experience of TCP/IP networking knowledge including security, sub-netting, switching, routing, load-balancing, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with emerging network technologies such as cloud adoption and containerization.

Preferred:

Experience with web application firewalls.
Aruba ClearPass Access Management system deployment and support.
Wide-ranging knowledge of Network Management tools and utilities.
