HighCloud Solutions is seeking a Network/Telecom Specialist / NG911 Administrative Specialist to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The role involves monitoring the AT&T Esinet and assisting network technicians in incident response and documentation.
About the Role
As a Network/Telecom Specialist, you will work onsite at the NC911 NMAC Network Monitoring and Assistance Operations Center. Your responsibilities will include assisting Tier I/II network technicians, providing incident response, managing documentation, and communicating with internal and external customers. You will also support NMAC leadership and assist with 911 fee documentation.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of technologies, operating systems, and networking.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to handle multiple support cases.
- Strong writing skills to maintain organized documentation.
- Customer-oriented, and capable of providing high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
- Strong skills in time and calendar management.
- Knowledge of network cabling, network classification, and network topology.
Preferred:
- Experience with VOIP technologies.
- Experience in a public governance sector.
