Summary
The Collective is seeking a Budtender to join their team in New London, CT. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about cannabis products, and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
About the Role
As a Budtender, you will greet customers, engage with them to understand their needs, provide information about cannabis products, assist in decision-making, operate the POS system, maintain a clean retail space, verify customer identification, collaborate with team members, stay updated on industry trends, handle inquiries and complaints, and participate in ongoing training.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge and/or willingness to learn about cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards cannabis.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible for employment in the cannabis industry.
