About the Role
As a News Producer at WOFL Fox 35, you will be responsible for selecting, researching, and writing news stories that are clear and accurate. You will coordinate with the executive producer, anchors, and reporters to create compelling television. Your duties will include monitoring story developments, producing graphics, and ensuring effective communication in the newsroom. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and actively participate in editorial meetings, bringing innovative story ideas to the table.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a TV news department producing newscasts.
- Strong creative writing skills and editorial judgment.
- College degree in an applicable discipline such as broadcast journalism.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of newsroom computer systems and digital platforms.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time effectively.
