Riley Children's Health is seeking a NICU Clinical Dietitian Intermediate to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves providing optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
About the Role
As a NICU Clinical Dietitian Intermediate, you will utilize the Nutrition Care Process to conduct nutritional assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and monitoring. You will plan and implement individualized nutrition education, precept dietetics students, and support departmental education. Additionally, you will collaborate with supply chain and food services, and independently order diets and supplements as approved by medical staff.
About You
Required:
Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field, or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
3+ years of relevant experience with a Specialist Certification or 4+ years without a Specialty Certification.
Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Ability to demonstrate expertise in malnutrition assessment and enteral nutrition support management.
Preferred:
Experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
Competency in parenteral nutrition management.
