About the Role
As a Nightshift NICU RN, you will be responsible for conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, providing patient education, and maintaining medical records. You will collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional health care team to ensure quality care and achieve desired treatment outcomes. The position also includes leadership responsibilities such as serving as a charge nurse or preceptor and participating in governance initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credentials.
- Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 4 months.
Preferred:
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification.
