Acquire4Hire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant & Toddler Teacher to join their team in Somerville, NJ. The role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months.

About the Role

As an Infant & Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. Your duties will include providing attentive care, developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, conducting assessments, maintaining communication with parents, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

About You

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education degree or related field preferred.
Previous experience working with infants and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide emotional support to infants and their families.
Ability to lift and carry infants, stand for extended periods, and engage in physical activities.

Preferred:

CDA (Child Development Associate) certification.
Previous experience in a licensed childcare center.
Knowledge of early childhood approaches.
Bilingual or multilingual skills.
Training in child psychology or related fields.
