Summary
Nisga'a Tek, LLC is seeking an experienced NOC Lead to oversee Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support for the Navy Enterprise Voice and Video System - Hawaii (NEVVS-HI) network in Honolulu, HI.
About the Role
As a NOC Lead, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the NEVVS-HI Network Operations Center, providing 24-7 network monitoring, incident detection, and Tier 1 troubleshooting. You will coordinate with government field technicians, oversee continuity of operations during outages, ensure compliance with federal security standards, maintain incident documentation, monitor network performance, and manage NOC staff scheduling.
About You
Required:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance at time of hire.
- 5+ years of IT operations lead/management experience in telecommunications.
- Proven experience managing large-scale VoIP network operations (Avaya VoIP certification or equivalent experience required).
- Intermediate proficiency in DoD 8140.03 CWF Code 441 Network Operations Specialist requirements.
- Strong incident management skills with ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with government representatives.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting military or federal communications networks.
- Familiarity with NEVVS-HI, Defense Switched Network (DSN), or similar government telephony systems.
- Experience in high-availability, mission-critical network environments.
- Knowledge of DoD security, compliance, and reporting protocols.
