About the Role
As a full-time Nocturnist - NP, you will serve in a clinical float position to meet nighttime coverage needs, perform required admission assessments of patients, respond to acute medical and psychiatric needs of inpatients, collaborate with the on-call admission coordinator, and manage acute medical conditions in consultation with primary care providers.
About You
Required:
- Completion of approved educational program for Nurse Practitioner.
- Knowledge and experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Active, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Active Virginia DEA number prior to approval of clinical privilege.
- Professional NP certification and current BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Bilingual.
- Veteran or Veteran Spouse.
