About the Role
As a Non-Legal Intern, you will engage in client interviewing, conduct screening interviews, draft case summaries, and collaborate with staff on asylum cases. You will also assist with updating databases, conduct non-legal research, and have opportunities to attend relevant trainings and advocacy events.
About You
Required:
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school or recent grads.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and survivors of trauma.
- Non-legal research and writing skills, particularly in immigration law.
- Dedicated interest in immigration advocacy and protecting the rights of migrants.
