Summary
Cetronia Ambulance Corps is seeking a Non-Medical Transportation Driver to provide non-emergency medical transportation to patients in Allentown, PA.
About the Role
As a Non-Medical Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and handling non-emergency litter and wheelchair-bound patients. Your duties will include completing required reports, maintaining the vehicle in readiness, and interacting professionally with EMS providers in the field.
About You
Required:
- Valid State of Pennsylvania Driver License with a clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- BCLS Certification (ARC or AHA accepted).
- Completion of Paratransit Driver Safety Course.
- Completion of AED Certification.
- Annual completion of Blood Borne Pathogens/TB/Haz-Com Awareness Program.
Preferred:
- Experience in patient handling for litter and wheelchair-bound patients.
- Knowledge of local area EMS infrastructure and geography.
- Ability to read maps.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
