About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, documenting care in medical records, performing physical examinations, assisting in diagnosing medical problems, and ordering laboratory tests. You will work under the direction of a physician and contribute to the development of care plans.
About You
Required:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia or certified as a Physician's Assistant.
- At least one year of direct experience in high acuity clinical specialties may be required.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
Preferred:
- ACLS certification may be required in some areas.
- Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP) for inpatient roles.
