About the Role
As a Nuclear Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the Conduct of Engineering program, supporting systems, structure, and component modifications and new installations. You will serve as the system owner for multiple facility systems, including electrical power distribution and uninterrupted power supply systems, and will provide technical support to operations and maintenance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 6 years of practical work experience for Engineer 3 or 12 years for Engineer 4.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical design for new facilities and modifications.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
- Ability to mentor early career engineers.
Preferred:
- Advanced engineering or technical degree.
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
- Experience leading a design team.
- Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Facility operations or engineering experience within a nuclear facility.
