About the Role
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for receiving consultation requests, checking for special instructions, and consulting with cardiologists as needed. You will greet patients, confirm identification, explain procedures, update patient records, document conditions, and complete examination and billing procedures. Your daily tasks will include performing quality assurance, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating gamma cameras/PET and PET CT equipment, documenting studies, performing safety inspections, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health department regulations.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine school.
- State certification required.
- Current basic life support certification.
Preferred:
- ARRT or NMTCB certification.
