Midwest Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team in Elmhurst, IL. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging using radionuclides to assist in patient diagnosis or treatment.
About the Role
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality images for licensed practitioners, providing patient care, and following medical ethics to complete procedures successfully. Your daily tasks will include reviewing patient history, preparing and instructing patients, administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, applying radiation safety, and addressing patient needs during procedures.
About You
Required:
Licensed by the IL State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
Registered by ARRT and/or NMTCB.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong communication skills.
