About the Role
As a Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for providing expertise and education for staff, overseeing quality initiatives, establishing educational policies and procedures, and participating in process improvement activities. You will also serve on special nursing and hospital-wide committees.
About You
Required:
- Current NJ Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Education or Advance Practice Acute Care Nursing; MSN preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and Staff Development certification.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Preferred:
- 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Previous experience as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator or Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Management or leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of standards and regulations related to staff development and patient education.
