About the Role
As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), obtaining and documenting clinical measurements, supporting patient nutrition and hydration, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and communicating changes in patient conditions to the RN. You will also perform clerical tasks and manage patient-care supplies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Actively enrolled in a recognized accredited nursing program with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Preferred:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, patient care, or customer service setting.
