As a Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care, you will perform nursing assessments, coordinate care for patients and families, and provide direct face-to-face visits. You will also be responsible for assessing patient eligibility for hospice services, maintaining knowledge of regulations, and participating in quality assurance programs.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Registered Nursing.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License within the state of Ohio.
- MSN or Doctoral Degree required.
- Minimum of one year experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
Preferred:
- End of Life Nursing Education Program (ELNEC) completion within 18 months of employment.
- Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing.
- Experience in end of life care.
