About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner - PRN, you will be responsible for conducting adult and geriatric assessments, including medical history, diagnosis, treatment, and health education. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and follow up on patient education. The assessments can last up to one hour and are designed to improve the quality of care and close care gaps.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree or commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure.
- Current NP licensure in state of practice with prescription authority or ability to obtain.
- AANP, AACN, or ANCC board certification in relevant specialty.
- Current BLS, ACLS or CPR certification.
- Valid state driver's license and automobile insurance.
Preferred:
- 1 year of NP experience preferred, new grads encouraged to apply.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with health/medical record software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
