About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner AC (ACLS), you will function as a licensed registered nurse and care provider, responsible for all aspects of patient care. This includes conducting physicals, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients about preventative care and treatments. You will collaborate with a treatment team and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act of Texas while promoting patient health and safety.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing and graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioners program.
- Two years of registered nurse, advanced practice or nurse practitioner clinical experience.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure.
- APRN Acute Care state license.
- Magnet ANCC-recognized Acute-Care practitioner certification.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- AP - Prescriptive Authority certification.
- DEA - Narcotics License.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated leadership as a clinical resource and patient advocate.
- Experience in coordinating patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
