As a Nurse Practitioner Acute Care, you will function as a licensed registered nurse and care provider, responsible for all aspects of patient care. This includes conducting physicals, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to manage patient care. You will also serve as a clinical resource and advocate for patients, ensuring quality care and safety protocols are followed.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Two years of registered nurse, advanced practice, or nurse practitioner clinical experience.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure.
- APRN - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Texas Board of Nursing - Acute care NP license.
- Magnet Acute Care NP ANCC-recognized certification.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA).
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Instructor (AHA).
- AP - Prescriptive Authority - Texas Board of Nursing.
- DEA - Narcotics License (DEA) within 6 months.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
