About the Role
About You
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master's degree in Nursing.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification and state certification where care is delivered.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Nurse Practitioner Furnishing (NP-F) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (for hospital-based departments).
- Minimum of 5 years recent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record systems.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality (PHI).
- Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) where applicable.
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) for specific departments.
- Experience with ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures and protocols.
- Familiarity with safety precaution policies, best practices in patient care and privacy, and regulatory changes.
