DOCS HEALTH CAREERS is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves providing health readiness services to military service members primarily on weekends and occasionally on weekdays.
About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will support physical health assessments of military personnel, review health histories, interview service members about medical concerns, and document results for readiness classification. You will work under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) and may need to adapt to various locations, including remote military installations.
About You
Required:
- Active NP license in the state.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health.
- Experience with mobile medical services.
- Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills.
Benefits
- $550 a day plus travel pay.
