About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide care to inmate patients, promoting and improving their overall health. Your responsibilities will include performing medical evaluations, constructing treatment plans, writing prescriptions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as Registered Nurse in the state.
- Certified to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state.
- Current DEA, CDS and DEA-X license.
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Maintains an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
- At least two (2) years of providing direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
