Summary
STGi is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) - PT to provide services at their Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Pierre, South Dakota. The role involves delivering professional clinical services under the direction of the Primary Care Provider.
About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide a wide range of health services, including urgent and emergent evaluations, comprehensive primary health care, and patient education. You will work closely with the Patient Aliened Care Team, supervise support staff, and ensure compliance with health care standards and regulations. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing health problems, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating care for patients.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in nursing from an NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted South Dakota license as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year as an APRN.
Preferred:
- Experience in outpatient care in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine environment.
- Current and unrestricted DEA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification from AHA or MTN.
