About the Role
About You
- Master’s in nursing from an accredited nursing program or Physician Assistant licensure and certification with pediatric experience.
- Board certification.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado.
- Previous experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner/physician assistant in a clinical setting.
- Active BLS certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge in pediatric primary care.
- Ability to interact positively and build rapport with patients and coworkers.
- Ability to work independently and organize work efficiently.
- Skill in using various computer software including MS Office and EHR systems.

STRIDE Community Health Center is a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 35 year history of providing team-based health care to the Denver-Metro area. From a single clinic in 1989, STRIDE has grown into a large, integrated health care delivery system serving 52,000 patients, annually, from 14 brick-and mortar clinics, including 6 school-based health centers, refugee medical services working in tandem with local resettlement agencies and a versatile street medicine team utilizing a mobile medical unit. STRIDE addresses the need for affordable and accessible medical, behavioral health, and dental care among low-income, uninsured, and underserved populations residing outside the city and county of Denver. STRIDE’s current service area encompasses Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Jefferson counties and the Cities of Aurora, Arvada, Edgewater, Englewood, Lakewood, and Wheat Ridge in the state of Colorado.
