About the Role
As a Hospitalist APP Provider, you will engage in direct patient care activities, including assessment, evaluation, diagnostic determination, ongoing treatment, and clinical management of patients. You will also be responsible for care planning, ordering medications, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring effective communication with patients and their families. Additionally, you will complete clinical documentation and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to create a positive work culture.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of ARC accredited Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree Physician Assistant Program or Graduate of MSN or DNP Nurse Practitioner Program for adult care.
- Current unrestricted medical license issued by NCMB with authorization to practice as a PA or current unrestricted RN license issued by or recognized by the NCBON with authorization to practice as a NP.
- Current ACLS certification required before hire.
Preferred:
- Inpatient APP experience preferred, but will consider new graduates.
