About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, collaborate with physicians to create patient care plans, prescribe treatments, and maintain medical records. You will also educate clinical staff and assist in program management, ensuring quality care for employees.
About You
Required:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in state of practice.
- Nationally Certified as FNP, ANP, or AGNP by AANP or ANCC.
- Master's degree required.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a NP in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, urgent care, or emergency department setting.
Preferred:
- Three years of clinical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
- Current DOT medical examiner certification in specified locations.
- Ability to train ancillary support staff on clinical skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
