About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide psychiatric medication management services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities. Your responsibilities will include monitoring psychiatric medications, informing residents of potential side effects, recommending medication initiation, completing AIMS testing, and developing behavior plans as needed. The position requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
About You
Required:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
- State Professional Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Ability to use email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare related software.
