As a Nurse Practitioner-PRN, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, providing diagnosis and treatment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person-centered care. This role requires flexibility to meet variable scheduling needs and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted Virginia APRN and nurse practitioner licensure.
- Prescriptive authority as required by Virginia state regulations.
Preferred:
- Certification in a relevant specialty (for example family or adult-gerontology).
- Clinical experience in post-acute care, long-term care, geriatrics or related settings.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record systems and clinical documentation.
