As a Nurse Professional Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs, mentoring nursing staff, and leading initiatives to improve patient care outcomes. You will analyze competency data, support staff transitions, and champion change within the organization. Your role will also involve conducting research and disseminating findings to enhance nursing practices.
About You
Required:
- Graduate Degree (Master's or greater) in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 3 or more years of current experience in Nursing in an acute care hospital.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Preferred:
- Previous professional development experience, teaching or education background.
- Experience with curriculum development, evaluative methods and professional development contact hour application.
- Nursing Professional Development Advanced Board Certified.
