About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant, you will collect and report patient information, assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, diet, and mobility, transport patients, collect specimens, distribute linens and supplies, deliver ice and beverages, and monitor at-risk patients to ensure safety.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification.
- Significant previous healthcare related experience or enrollment in a Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program or in process of earning a BA in Nursing or Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed.
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
Preferred:
- Graduate of a Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting.
