About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant I in the Staffing Pool, you will perform basic nursing skills and personal care activities under the supervision of an RN/LPN. Your responsibilities will include measuring vital signs, assisting with personal care, supporting patients' nutritional needs, and ensuring effective communication among healthcare teams. You will adapt to different unit workflows and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
About You
Required:
- Completion of state approved Level I Nurse Aide training and competency evaluation program or its equivalent.
- Current Listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Preferred:
- At least one year of experience in a health care setting.
- Ability to learn new software rapidly, with knowledge of Epic/EMR being helpful.
