About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant, you will collaborate with the Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, performing basic nursing assistant skills, assisting with rehabilitation, maintaining a safe environment, recognizing and reporting signs and symptoms, and ensuring safety and quality assurance in patient care. You may also function as a patient observer and will be required to cover shifts at various residential programs.
About You
Required:
- Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant.
- High school graduate or its equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform basic computer skills.
- Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span.
Preferred:
- One-year experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
