As a Nursing Attendant II, you will perform support tasks such as taking inventory, replenishing ward supplies, assisting in patient admission and discharge, and performing technical nursing tasks like collecting specimens and monitoring patients' conditions. You will also provide therapeutic services, contribute to patient comfort, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a sanitary environment. The role requires direct contact with inmate patients in a jail environment.
About You
Required:- Six months' experience as a Nursing Attendant in a ward or clinic.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant by the California Department of Public Health.
- Certification issued by the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred:- Additional work experience gained after receiving certification as a Nursing Assistant.
