About the Role
As a Nutritionist, you will support residents by assessing their nutritional needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and educating them on healthy lifestyle choices. You will collaborate with case management and program staff to address dietary needs, particularly for clients managing chronic health conditions. Additionally, you will conduct group workshops to promote healthy eating habits and monitor clients' progress.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching nutrition curriculums and must have food experience.
- Possession of a valid Food Handler’s License, or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of hire.
- Proven experience in clinical, community, or private nutrition counseling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and support clients in achieving health goals.
- Knowledge of dietary supplements and nutrition-related medical conditions.
Preferred:
- Certification or licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent.
- Master’s degree preferred.
