About the Role
As a NYC Traveling Technician, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of sterile processing, including decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, wrapping, and sterilization. You will ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, maintain accurate instrument sets, and support maintenance for laparoscopic instruments. Building strong relationships with SPD teams and hospital partners is essential, along with maintaining required documentation and using technology effectively.
About You
Required:
- Active CRCST certification required.
- Sterile Processing experience required.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.
- Ability to travel locally in NYC up to 100% of the time.
Preferred:
- Endoscopy experience preferred.
- Some college education preferred.
