About the Role
As the Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for following state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care, implementing treatment plans defined by the supervising OT, instructing and aiding patients in evidence-based treatment, and observing and reporting on patients' responses to treatment. You will also educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy within your scope of practice.
About You
Required:
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
Preferred:
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently.
- Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
