About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct initial screenings and evaluations, implement treatment plans, coordinate therapy with educational programs, and develop home or classroom programs for clients. You will also participate in planning sessions, supervise COTAs, and maintain service-related records while ensuring effective communication with students, parents, and other professionals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited AOTA occupational therapy program or equivalent.
- Successful completion of NBCOT Certification Examination.
- State of New Jersey license and NJ Department of Education Certification as an Occupational Therapist.
Preferred:
- Experience in a school-based setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of varied treatment approaches and child development.
