About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist on a PRN basis, you will treat disabilities, injuries, and diseases using therapeutic techniques as prescribed by physicians. Your responsibilities will include documenting patient observations, monitoring clinical data, and modifying treatment plans based on patient performance. You will also communicate care explanations clearly to patients and their families.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.
- Experience in an appropriate healthcare setting.
- Clear/active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current FIM (Functional Independence Measure) required within 90 days of hire.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
